Parmesh Adiwal, a renowned Pakistani director and producer, has recently announced his conversion to Islam, sharing his spiritual journey with his fans and followers on social media. The filmmaker, who was previously a Hindu, changed his name to Muhammad, honoring the Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
Adiwal, who is known for his work in films and music videos, also performed Umrah, a sacred pilgrimage to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. He posted a video of himself praying at the Prophet’s Mosque, expressing his gratitude and joy. He captioned the video with “Tajdar-e-Haram”, a famous qawwali that praises the Prophet (PBUH).
The director received a warm welcome from his colleagues and friends in the entertainment industry, who congratulated him on his decision and wished him well. Actors Feroze Khan and Mohib Mirza were among the celebrities who commented on his post, showing their support and admiration.
Adiwal’s conversion to Islam is a personal and profound choice that reflects his inner transformation and awakening. He joins the ranks of other notable figures who have embraced Islam, such as singer Junaid Jamshed, cricketer Yousuf Youhana, and journalist Kristiane Backer.
