Imran Khan’s party has agreed to form the government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in alliance with the party’s breakaway faction — Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTI-P), sources said.
The sources shared that both parties had held talks on the formation of a coalition government.
They said that the Pakitan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder gave the go-ahead to form an alliance with Parvez Khattak’s party after negotiations failed with Jamat-e-Islami.
It is important to note that the PTI-P has two seats in the KP Assembly while the PTI has 84 members in the house of 115.
