PESHAWAR: The PTI backed independent candidates have decided to withdraw their case filed in the Peshawar High Court (PHC) for allocation of reserved seats in the provincial assembly after announcement of alliance with Sunni Etihad Council (SEC) by party leadership.
The lawyer of PTI Shah Faisal Advocate told media here that the case has no importance since the PTI backed independent candidates have announced joining of a political party within three-day of their notification by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
The case was scheduled for hearing on Tuesday, February 20 by a two-member bench of PHC comprising Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Atiq Shah.
