YouTube has removed the immensely popular song “Badu Baddi” by Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, known for his humorous style of singing that gained him fame on social media.
The song, a remix of the classic hit “Akh Ladi Badu Baddi,” had garnered a staggering 28 million views on YouTube, captivating not only Pakistani social media users but also drawing attention from Indian audiences and even some Bollywood actors who created videos featuring the catchy tune.
However, YouTube has now taken down the viral sensation citing copyright issues. Reports suggest that the deletion comes as a consequence of Chahat Fateh Ali Khan unlawfully using and uploading the song onto his YouTube channel.
Speculation abounds regarding YouTube’s action, with many alleging that the platform removed the song due to its illegal usage and unauthorized upload by Chahat Fateh Ali Khan.
It’s worth noting that “Badu Baddi” was released by Chahat Fateh Ali Khan last month following his string of other successful tracks.
The original Punjabi song, “Akh Ladi Badu Baddi,” belongs to Malka-e-Tarannum Noor Jehan, and Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s rendition, uploaded without permission on YouTube, has now faced consequences.
