Israeli forces have confirmed the discovery of six more bodies of hostages in Gaza, who were abducted by Hamas on October 7. According to Israeli military statements, the bodies were found in a tunnel in the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
International media reports reveal that the deceased include five Israeli citizens and one American. The American, Hirsch Goldberg-Pollan, was identified by his family, who confirmed the news. Among the bodies recovered, there are four men and two women.
The Israeli military spokesperson indicated that the bodies were found on Saturday, suggesting that the individuals were likely killed one or two days before their discovery.
