The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a significant statement following a missile attack on Israel. On Tuesday, Iran launched several ballistic missiles at Israel, marking a critical escalation in the region.
According to Israeli military sources, at least 102 missiles were fired from Iran towards Israel, triggering sirens in occupied Jerusalem. However, Israeli media outlets claim that the number of missiles fired was closer to 400, indicating the intensity of the assault.
Following the attack, the IRGC stated that this missile strike was in retaliation for attacks on Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas, and Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah. Iran has made it clear that this response was a direct consequence of these targeted attacks.
In a stern warning, the IRGC emphasized that if Israel retaliates, they will strike again, with further precision aimed at Israeli military targets. The message was clear: “An eye for an eye.” Iran’s forces believe their missile strikes successfully hit key Israeli military targets, further fueling tensions in an already volatile region.
