PHC accepts bail plea of Amir Muqam in illegal asset case
PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Monday granted bail to PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Amir Muqam in a National Accountability Bureau (NAB) inquiry against him over charges of possessing assets beyond known sources of income.
The divisional bench comprising of Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Nasir Mehfoz while accepting the bail before arrest plea of Amir Muqam also directed the accused to submit Rs1 million surety bond.
The National Accountability Bureau has issued arrest warrant of Amir Muqam in asset beyond known sources case.
The court also issued notices to NAB to submit reply by March 31. - APP
