27 citizen facilitation centers established in merged areas: PDMA
PESHAWAR: Under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Digital Initiative of provincial government, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) in collaboration with World Bank, NADRA, Economic Affair Division Islamabad has established 27 citizen facilitation centers in the merged districts. The step was taken by KP Government for the convenience of people in the merged districts to get national identity cards, CNIC for overseas Pakistanis, child registration certificates, family registration certificates, Child Birth Registration, NICOP, Juvenile Card, Bank Sub Branches with ATM facilities, E-Sahulat, Naya Pakistan housing registration, ETO vehicle verification Islamabad, ID Verification, Mobile Top-Ups, Livelihood Support Grant (LSG), Child Wellness Grant and payment of utility bills under single roof. According to Director General PDMA, Sharif Hussain, looking at its success in the merged districts, Citizen Facilitation Centers are being expanded to the southern districts. Work was underway on 16 facilitation centers in Bannu, Lakki Marwat, DI Khan and Tank from where the provision of facilities to the citizens would start soon. Similarly, he said, Civil Registration including marriage, death, divorce documents, Federal Arm license, Passport Data Collection Counters, BISP counter facilities were proposed services to be provided in these 16 CFCs. He further said that Economic Affair Division, Islamabad, NADRA and PDMA KP were jointly collaborating these CFCs. - APP
