Online art auction to generate funds for COVID affectees
ISLAMABAD: ARTAID has announced to organize online Art Auction to generate funds for the coronavirus lockdown affected, particularly low income families.
ArtAid was an initiative of Hunerkada with a belief that "Art is for life and is always in service of humanity".
Chairman ArtAid Jamal Shah said that responding to the biggest challenge of our times, ArtAid has planned an online Art auction in support of the Coronavirus lockdown affected low income groups.
The Art auction aimed to raise funds for the Coronavirus affected daily wagers and other disadvantaged groups. The Artworks to be auctioned has been donated to ArtAid by local and international artists for the same purpose.
There was a base price for each work and we requested all willing philanthropists to bid for the work of your choice.
The art works which were donated 100% to ArtAid, would be bartered 100% with supplies.
The works which donates a certain percentage of its base price would be bartered according to the mentioned percentage offered by the artist as donation, rest of the amount will be paid through cheque or cash. - APP
