MQM-P leadership suggests parting ways with govt

KARACHI: The senior leadership of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) has possibly decided to part ways with the government expressing disappointment over their "false promises", Dunya TV reports.
According to details, the differences between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and MQM-P are continuously deteriorating. The meeting discussed the political situation of the country along with prevailing matters with the government. MQM-P’s leadership is disappointed with the behavior of the PTI leaders and progress in negotiations.
Sources told that that an emergency meeting was called where stalwarts of the party suggested ending the coalition.
MQM-P has decided to finalize its future strategy after seeking feedback from the workers and public before making a major decision. Furthermore, MQM-P leadership also complaint about the half-heartedness of the federal government in releasing funds for the development of Karachi despite making many promises after spending 18 months into power.
