PESHAWAR: After the dramatic last over, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh in the final T20 match and won the series by 3:0.
Pakistan had started its inning confidently and after ten overs the score was 83 at the loss of one wicket. Captain Babar Azam, once again failed in the series and was dismissed for 19 off 25 balls.

In the 16th over, Pakistan got a big blow when Muhammad Rizwan was bowled after scoring 40 runs. In the last dramatic over, Sarfraz Ahmed, Haider Ali and Iftikhar were bowled by Muhammadullah but thanks to Muhammad Nawaz who hit a boundary on the last ball to clinch the series.
Batting first after winning the toss, Bangladesh scored 124 for seven in the allotted 20 overs. Bangladesh’s opener Mohammad Naeem remained the top-scored with 47 runs. Shamim Hussain scored 22 and Afif Hussain scored 20. Shahnawaz Dahani took the wicket in the first and at the end of four overs Bangladesh scored 23 runs for the loss of one wicket. The Pakistani bowlers performed well and after ten overs, Bangladesh scored at 52 at the cost of two wickets.
By the 15th over of the innings, Bangladesh’s score reached 89 but in the same over Usman Qadir also got his second wicket when Afif Hussain was dismissed for 20 runs. In the last four overs of the innings, Bangladesh scored just 35 runs. Pakistani bowlers’ performed excellently and completely dominated Bangladesh batters.
The debutant Dahani took the first wicket in his first over. Batters Iftikhar Ahmed, Usman Qadir and Sarfaraz Ahmed were also brought back to the playing squad while Fakhr Zaman and Emad Wasim were give rest. Middle-order batsman Shoaib Malik was not available for the final match of the series due to illness of his son. Pakistan cricket team has won the series by winning the first two matches.
