PESHAWAR: The medical report submitted to the Lahore High Court on Monday said that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condition will deteriorate after leaving UK for Pakistan without proper treatment.
The three-page medical report, submitted by his lawyer Amjad Pervez, said that doctors have stopped Sharif from travel The report said that after the death of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, the former PM is under pressure.

The report said that Nawaz Sharif should not leave London without undergoing angiography. He said that he should continue his activities without any stress, take his medicine, take a walk in the open air and also take precautionary measures against coronavirus. The report said, “Nawaz Sharif may die due to heart disease and Coronavirus. He may also have respiratory problems due to Coronavirus; concerns are high in airports and public places because of the global Covid-19 pandemic.”
Former Prime Minister went to London for treatment and has not returned yet. His personal physician Dr Adnan used to inform the court about the health of former Prime minister. The ruling party members said that Sharif is addressing meetings and also appears in restaurants and has not been in hospital for a single day. The British government had refused to allow further stay in the UK but Sharif had requested the British government to extend his visa on medical grounds.
Earlier, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry had said that Sharif’s chapter in political history of the country was now closed. He said that the government is trying to bring back to face accountability cases.
However, legal and political circles say that the return of the former Prime Minister will not be so easy. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, former speaker of the National Assembly, who claimed that he had met Nawaz Sharif in London, said and that Sharif would return to Pakistan soon.
