PESHAWAR: Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Saturday claimed that accused involved in shia mosque suicide attack have been identified.
In a video statement released on Twitter, Sheikh Rashid claimed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police has reached the “bottom of the matter” and in a day or two they will be able to reach the accused.

Earlier, theLady Reading Hospital (LRH) officials said that the death toll in Peshawar suicide blast has climbed to 62 after five more victims breathed their last while undergoing treatment at LRH.
Police have also released sketches of the suicide bomber who blew himself up at the Jamia Masjid in Qissa Khawani Bazaar. SSP Operations Haroon Rasheed said that sketches of the suicide bomber have been prepared and his body parts have collected from the crime spot for further investigation.
At least 62 worshipers were martyred and some 200 injured in a suicide blast at Jamia Masjid during Friday prayers. CCTV footage also surfaced, showing a man dressed in black walking towards a mosque after the exchange of fire with police.
Talking about the political situation, the Interior Minister said that no-confidence motion and requisition for assembly session are two separate things. The minister said that the speaker national assembly Asad Qaiser has not yet received the opposition requisition for the assembly session.
Earlier, addressing a press conference, Minister for Information Chaudhry Fawad Hussain criticised the opposition over the politics of no-confidence motion. He said that despite several announcements, the opposition political parties are unable to take final decision.
He furthered that Jahangir Tareen is in good health and has been shifted home from hospital. However, the minister said that he is staying in London and has no plan to return soon. The Information Minister said that PML-N has been limited to four divisions in Punjab.
