PESHAWAR: Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said on Saturday that the government has postponed the decision to impose governor Raj in Sindh province.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Sheikh Rashid said that the next 10 days – March 24 to April 3 – are very important and will be the most tumultuous days in Pakistan’s political history.
He said the government has called two thousand Rangers personnel to federal capital to maintained law and order situation during these days. He said that the government is sure that the opposition will also hold its march and the rally of Prime Minister Imran Khan on 27th will also be held in amicable manner.

The Home Minister said that there will be holidays in Islamabad from 21st to 24th because of preparations for the historic parade of Pakistan Army on 23rd March. He said that today a summary of imposing Governor Rule in Sindh was submitted but the decision for postponed. The opposition political parties and Pakistan bar council had warned the government of governor Raj in Sindh.
Pak-Australia match shifted from Rawalpindi to Lahore
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid also informed that all the four matches between Pakistan and Australia in Rawalpindi have been shifted to Lahore. He said that a heavy contingent of police was in charge of protecting the Australian team but now after the transfer of matches, the number of security personnel will be further increased.
All limited overs matches of the series between Pakistan and Australia were to be hosted by Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The one-day matches between the two teams were to be played on March 29, 31 and April 2, as well as the only T20 match on April 5 in Rawalpindi.
He assured the opposition members that they will not enter Sindh House. He said that Pakistan is going through its most important political period and the coming two weeks are most important in the history of the country.
