The highly awaited official anthem of HBL PSL 8 has finally been released . Composed by Abdullah Siddiqui, the anthem has been sung by Shae Gill, Asim Azhar, and Faris Shafi – alluring enough to capture the attention of cricket fans worldwide.
The video features all the flags of the franchises at the beginning and unveiling the PSL 8 trophy at the end as the captains of the teams gaze at it.
The release of PSL 8’s official anthem drew a mixed public response. While some cricket fans are in awe of the new release, some suggest that the song would have been better off if Ali Zafar had produced it.
Qadir Khawaja, a sports reporter, wrote that the amount of money paid to four singers for the song from PSL 8 should have been given to Ali Zafar alone. He would have worked on it for an entire year and produced the best one.
