Elbit, a leading defense company in Israel known for producing cutting-edge weaponry, has recently unveiled a new addition to its arsenal – the “Lenius.” This unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is loaded with explosives and operates under the control of computer algorithms and artificial intelligence.
Designed to engage in combat scenarios, it possesses the capability to autonomously locate and neutralize perceived threats within the battlefield, military installations, or even residential areas.
Last week, Elbit demonstrated the latest model of its house-penetrating suicide drone, named “Lenius,” which is specifically engineered to infiltrate densely populated cities, entering homes and structures to carry out its mission. These agile drones can navigate through windows, bypassing obstacles, and accomplish their objectives undetected.
