Pakistan was marred by horrific suicide bombings on Eid Milad un Nabi, a day dedicated to celebrating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. The nation was left reeling as two separate attacks sent shockwaves across the country, claiming numerous lives and leaving many injured.
Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti wasted no time in pointing fingers at India’s intelligence agency, RAW, alleging their involvement in these tragic incidents. He stated that New Delhi’s aim was to destabilize Pakistan and unveiled a resolute “zero-tolerance policy against terrorism.”
Bugti assured the nation that every effort would be made to bring the perpetrators to justice and that Pakistan would not tolerate any form of terrorism within its borders. He also pledged to provide comprehensive support to those injured in the attacks.
Meanwhile, a thorough investigation is underway under the guidance of COAS Gen Asim Munir, and a case has been lodged against the unknown attackers at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station in Quetta.
