The Israeli cabinet has been rocked by fierce disagreements over the issue of freeing the captives held by Hamas. According to an Israeli news website, the Israeli defense minister stormed the prime minister’s office and the situation almost turned into a fistfight.
The Israeli army has also been divided over the strategy of the Gaza war, and three commanders told the American newspaper in an interview that they cannot both defeat Hamas and save the captives alive, the two tasks are impossible, the fastest way to bring back the captives is through diplomacy.
On the other hand, media reports said that thousands of people protested against the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv, the Israeli capital, and the frustrated protesters called Netanyahu a devil face for failing to free the captives.
The protesters, who were related to the affected families, said that the Netanyahu government ignored us on October 7 and has been ignoring us every day since then.
The protesters also accused Israel of endangering its security and demanded new elections in Israel, saying that we have the power to change or condemn this situation, so this government must now go home.
