Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that if “forced” to do so, Israel will stand “alone” in its fight against Hamas. It is important to note that this statement comes after the aggressive action taken by the United States, where President Joe Biden stated that Washington will not provide weapons to Israel following the attacks on Rafah.
Netanyahu, in his capacity as the Israeli Prime Minister, stated, “As Prime Minister of Israel, I say that if Israel is forced to stand alone, Tel Aviv will stand alone. But we know that we are not alone.” He further emphasized that 80 years ago, when the Jews were defenseless, no nation came to their aid.
During his speech on Israel’s annual Holocaust Remembrance Day, Netanyahu addressed world leaders, saying, “Today, we are once again facing the threat of destruction from our enemies. I say to the leaders of the world: Any kind of pressure, any decision of any international forum, will not stop Israel from defending itself.”
