More than 20 laborers who were working at a construction site along the national highway in the Musa Khail district of Balochistan have been kidnapped by armed men.
The abduction unfolded when these workers were performing their daily tasks at a camp set up by a construction company. According to police reports, the assailants first opened fire on the camp, creating chaos before forcibly taking the laborers away.
As if that wasn’t enough, the armed men also set fire to eight bulldozers owned by the construction company, highlighting the brutality of this incident. Local law enforcement has reacted swiftly, initiating a search operation in the area to rescue the kidnapped workers and apprehend the attackers.
Just a day earlier, a similar act of brutality occurred in the Panjgur area, where armed men stormed a home and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of seven workers and leaving one seriously injured. The deceased, all hailing from Multan in Punjab, were brutally murdered by militants associated with the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). Among the victims were Sajid, Fayyaz, Khalid, Shafiq, Iftikhar, Salman, and Bilal, who were working on a construction project in the area. The injured worker has been identified as Muhammad Ramzan.
These heinous acts not only rob individuals of their lives but also instill fear within the entire community, disrupting the peace and stability that families desperately seek.
