In recent days, there has been a gradual increase in violence in North and South Waziristan, and this time the nature of the violence is slightly different. In the past, militants have carried out large-scale operations, including bombings, suicide attacks, targeting military convoys and laying landmines over a wide area, but Operation Zarb-e-Azb has taken a heavy toll on TTP, forcing the terrorists to flee to Afghanistan. The Pakistan army had launched Zarb-e-Azb against militants in North Waziristan in June 2014 which lasted for about four years. But now, according to some analysts, the situation is once again tense. On the other hand, according to defense analysts these are few remaining elements who are carrying out attacks.
