PESHAWAR: The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has announced a nationwide door-to-door vaccination campaign, saying that in a special campaign, teams will administer the coronavirus vaccine to the public as it is the only cure against the deadly virus.
Asad Umar, head of the National Command and Operations Center, while addressing a press conference along with Special Assistant for Health Dr. Faisal Sultan, said that for the special vaccination campaign 55,000 teams have been constituted across the country. He said that people can benefit from door-to-door campaign and get themselves vaccinated.

Federal Minister Asad Omar said that 180 million people have been vaccinated and a large number of people have also been given booster dose. He claimed that those who were given booster dose as now protected against the virus. Special Assistant for Health Dr. Faisal Sultan said that corona is being vigorously fought, 55,000 teams are participating in special vaccination campaign which is the best way to prevent corona is vaccination. Dr Sultan said that 2.5 million people have been administered booster dose free of cost that boosts immunity system against Covid-19.
The NCOC has reported 32 more deaths in the proceeding 24 however, the positivity ratio has reduced to 9.65% from 11%. The NCCO said that 55,202 corona tests were carried out across the country of which 5,327 were confirmed to have infected with the coronavirus. According to the National Command and Operations, there are 1,500 patients in critical condition in the country and the death toll from Coronavirus has risen to 29,301 and the number of affected people has reached 1.43 million. In addition, in the last 24 hours, 3665 people have recovered from virus, after which the number of people recovering from the diseases in the country has risen to 1.295 million.
