PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mehmood Khan has directed to keep CNG stations open two more days in a week in view of difficulties faced by consumers and people associated with the industry.
CNG stations in the province will now be open five days a week instead of three while from 15 March, gas stations will be open seven days a week. The Chief Minister also issued orders to concerned authorities to keep the CNG stations open 24 hours a week.

The directions were issued during a meeting with a delegation of CNG Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, led by its president Fazal Muqeem Khan, on Tuesday. He apprised the CM of the difficulties faced by the people and requested to keep the CNG stations open five days a week instead of three. Approving the request, CM directed concerned authorities to take necessary steps in this regard.
Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, Members Provincial Assembly Arbab Jehandad Khan and Asif Khan besides Commissioner Peshawar Riaz Mehsud and concerned officials of SNGPL were also present on the occasion.
Talking to the delegation, the Chief Minister said the government is fully aware of the difficulties faced by the people associated with the industry and CNG consumers. He said that it is further increasing the difficulties of the common man. Khan claimed that the government was taking concrete steps to provide maximum relief to the people in all sectors.
