PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid e Azam (PML-Q) has told Prime Minister that if 15 or 20 of PTI lawmakers deserted their party, then they too would be forced to join the united opposition.
According to during the meeting between PM Imran Khan and PML-Q Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema, the PM was informed about the PML-Q concerns over the ‘angry’ PTI members. It was the first that the ruling coalition party has signaled support to the opposition over the no-confidence motion. Cheema said that his party will formulate a new policy keeping in view the evolving political situation of the country.

Yesterday Pakistan Muslim League-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain called on Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and discussed the no-confidence motion and the current political situation in the country.
Earlier, the leaders of the united opposition told a press conference that they were hopeful that the no-confidence motion would be successful and that more than 172 members would vote for him. Talking to media in Islamabad along with PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif said that the no-trust motion has been filled to n the “national interest”.
Meanwhile, Punjab Energy Minister Akhtar Malik has declined to side with PTI angry group leader Abdul Aleem Khan. The provincial minister replied to Aleem Khan that he could not leave the party in difficult times. Malik, along with two other PTI leaders, were contacted for support against the government. However, after his meeting with Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, Malik declined to support Aleem Khan.
Aleem Khan, the leader of PTI Angry Group, has left for UK today where he will discuss the political situation with Jahangir Tareen. Aleem Khan had joined the Jahangir Tareen group a few days ago.
