PESHAWAR: The Bajaur district administration on Monday distributed pamphlets for the arrest of 18 commanders of the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The administration has announced head money of Rs2 million for each “terrorist” and requested the public to help the government in apprehending the terrorists to clean Bajaur from terrorism. On 07 February, the North Waziristan administration had announced head money for the arrest of seven terrorists.

It has been informed that the “terrorists” are wanted to the government in various cases including attacks on the security forces. Among these terrorists are Ismail alias Samandar, Zakirullah alias Zakir Yarwali alias Aamir, Hijratullah alias Mukhlis, Gul Bahadur alias Bajauri, Riaz alias Habab, Ikramullah, Zahid Gul alias Mubarak, Noor Hazrat alias Izzatullah, Badshah Zamin alias Bilal, Hayat alias Salman, Irshad son of Sher Bahadur, Ismail alias Umar, Garan Syed alias Adil, Rahimullah alias Shahid Umar, Muhammad Tahir alias Qari Yahya, Bahadur Zaman alias Abdullah, Obaidullah alias Qari Saqib.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that security forces have killed a “suicide bomber” as he tried to enter a military post in KP’s North Waziristan tribal district. The ISPR said that bomber tried to break into a military post in Dosali area and but the security personnel gunned down the accused. The ISPR added that arms and ammunition were also recovered from the slain “terrorist” called Sharif.
The Awami National Party (ANP) has strongly criticised the government over the terror incidents in the country. Addressing a news conference, the ANP central general secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that terror organisations have been organised and terrorist activities are also taking place in the capital Islamabad besides Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “The increase in the incidence of terrorism is due to the lack of seriousness and incompetence of the PTI government,” the ANP leader alleged.
