PESHAWAR: At least four persons, including law enforcement personnel, were killed in a landmine blast in Balochistan’s Sui Tehsil on Friday.
According to Levies , 10 persons were also injured the IED blast. The Express reported that Senator Sarfraz Bugti’s cousin also killed in the blast. The security forces have cordoned off the area and the injured were shifted to Sui Public Welfare Hospital. Sources said that the victims include Levies Sepoy and two members of pro-government Aman force.
Senator Sarfarz Bugti has said that in a twitter post that the banned Baloch Republican Army was behind the attack.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo condemned the blast and expressed sorrow over the lost of precious lives. He said that “The enemies of peace once again carried out cowardly acts of terrorism,” the chief minister said, “no effort will be spared in bringing the terrorists to justice.”
Yesterday at least 10 security personnel were martyred in terrorist attack on security forces’ check post in Balochistan’s Ketch area. According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), a terrorist was also killed in an exchange of fire while three other were arrested. The ISPR vowed that it would take very possible step to eradicate terrorism.
The Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad had directed the provinces to remain on high alert after the Lahore bomb blast. Yesterday, the National Security Adviser Dr Moeed Yusuf said that Afghan soil is still being used against Pakistan.
“We’re not much optimistic about the Taliban government. Organized terror networks are operating in Afghanistan,” Yusuf said. Talking about the dialogues with the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, the adviser said that the TTP unilaterally terminated the ceasefire agreement. He made it clear that the anti-state elements will be dealt with iron hands.
