Jirga of Chota Datta Khel tribe agrees to polio vaccination
PESHAWAR: A jirga of Chota Datta Khel elders Wednesday agreed to vaccinate their children against polio after successful negotiations with district administration Miran Shah.
Elders of the tribe agreed to vaccinate their children after a series of long discussion and negotiations with a team of district administration led by assistant commissioner Miran Shah, Fawad Khattak.
Addressing the jirga, Assistant Commissioner said that government is endeavoring to secure the future of children by vaccinating them against the crippling disease of polio. He also urged people to support efforts of government to eradicate polio.

It is worth mentioning that Chota Ditta Khel tribe was against polio campaign and refused vaccination of their children. – APP
